As of right now, we don’t have a place to stay in Ethiopia.
I trust (have I mentioned that this whole adoption thing has been a lesson in trust?) that by the time we arrive in Addis, it will be all worked out.
Thanks to Heidi, we do have a laptop to bring along. If we can find a connection, we will update.
I got an 81 on my exam. I’m quite pleased with myself. The fact that I even took a statistics exam is extraordinary, nevermind passing. If I hadn’t been worried about bigger stuff, I’d have worried myself silly about it.
Other than that, we spend a lot of time staring, not really comprehending that we will be in Africa in a few days, meeting our new son.
See? It’s ridiculous just to write it.
Bonnie is coming this week, I have a stats exam tonight, and we’re leaving early Saturday morning.

Lily: People from all over the world are in the parade?
Me: Yes. There will be so many languages spoken there. It will happen in Italy. Do you know what language they speak in Italy?
